Newborn Photo Shoots
Newborns are best photographed within the first two weeks of having come into this world. Since I don’t do newborn styling, contactless newborn shoots come very natural to me. I will direct you on where to put the baby or how to place your hands, etc., but mostly it will be a lifestyle/photojournalistic shoot. If you’re okay with me touching the baby (with mask if you prefer, and washed hands, of course), I may occasionally make small adjustments. We will talk.
Newborn shoots can take between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending entirely on the mood of the baby. I’m never in a rush and I can wait (and usually document) when baby needs to be fed or changed during our shoot.
As with the maternity sessions, it would be nice to plan the shoot around everyone’s schedule. In other words, let’s make sure we take some family photos, too. We can even include your furry friends.
Digital images are included, but my goal is to create a set of beautiful images for a printed album, as well as artwork worthy of framing. Digital images are nice to have, but I put so much love and time into my work, it would be a shame to just let them disappear into a hard-drive somewhere. [Click here for album options.]
